Boxer Lolita Muzeya has declared that she will teach her fellow boxer Catherine Mulyata a lesson for what she terms as “disrespecting” renowned former WBC champion Esther Phiri.
Mulyata has recently challenged Phiri to a fight, declaring that she will emerge victorious if given a chance in the ring.
Esther last fought in 2015 with South African boxer Sandra Almeda with the fight ending in a technical draw.
Meanwhile, Mulyata from Barotse Boxing Academy has been calling for a face-off with Esther who recently announced her come back to the ring.
However, Mulyata’s utterances have not settled well with Muzeya who has since declared that she will teach her opponent a boxing lesson when the two square it off on the 17th of next month at the government complex in Lusaka.
Muzeya from Oriental Quarries Boxing Promotions said on Monday that Mulyata should first prove herself by beating her before seeking to fight Esther who is way above her in the ring.
“Catherine Mulyata,you may feel like you’re on top of the world but you’ve over stepped your bounds by challenging my elder sister Esther Phiri and now me.
Out of respect for her and because you were just starting, I initially held back but now it’s time for a reckoning,” Muzeya stated.
The boxer further cautioned her opponent saying; “your mouth has run too long and now your actions will catch up with you. I am coming to teach you a lesson and defend the honor of my sister,” she said.
Muzeya added that Mulyata should expect a fight she has never experienced before.
