By Cosmas Chongo Mulenga
2012 AFCON winning midfielder Rainford Kalaba has taken his first meal after seven days of being hospitalized at the University Teaching Hospital (UTH).
In an interview with Diamond Sports, UTH Public Relations Officer Nzeba Chanda has revealed that the former Chipolopolo Captain has now become active.
Chanda says Kalaba is now able to talk, make movements, open his eyes and have a normal conversation with an individual.
However, he is yet to take his first steps unassisted.
Kalaba was involved in a road traffic accident on April 13th at Kafue S Corner in Great North Road.
