A 28-year-old woman of Katete has allegedly killed her two children aged four and eight years after being divorced by their father.

Malisela Banda of Kabinda village under Chieftainess Kawaza is said to have strangled her children between Tuesday and Wednesday at Mutoniya Village.

“The woman is a divorcee. She was divorced by the father of the two children and he married another woman,” Eastern Province police commanding officer Limpo Liywalii said.
