Former Chilanga member of parliament on the PF ticket Maria Langa has refuted media reports that she is a board member of the Wonderful Group of Companies a Chinese owned firm.
In a statement Langa said the accusations are malicious.

I have learnt with dismay that a story titled; “FAITH MUSONDA GOT $10MILLION FROM WONDERFUL GROUP OF COMPANIES” published on the Zambian Watchdog online newspaper, has mentioned me as a board member in Wonderful Group of companies with others.
I wish to state that this is a malicious lie.
I do not understand how my name has been dragged into such dangerous falsehood.
I appeal to the Editor of that online newspaper to immediately withdraw the fabricated falsehood published against me.
