Renowned comedian and journalist Mark Ziligone, popularly known as Bishop Nkongolo, has shared a heartfelt reflection on his journey as a single father, emphasizing the importance of shielding children from social media drama.
In a Facebook post, Ziligone detailed his experience raising his son, Mark Ziligone Jr., as a single parent since the child was just over a year old. He described how he embraced fatherhood, learning everything from changing diapers to offering emotional support, all while ensuring his son grew up in a loving and stable environment.
Now eight years old, his son remains his top priority. Ziligone made it clear that despite parting ways amicably with his ex-wife, he has deliberately kept their differences private, avoiding public disputes on social media.
“I’ve learned that children don’t need to be exposed to the turmoil and negativity of adult problems,” he wrote. “My son’s innocence and happiness should never be clouded by online drama. He deserves a childhood free of the weight of our past struggles.”
