The Nicolas Banda led Kulimatower bus station drivers will this Thursday be hosting a Christmas/New year bonanza where the united bus drivers will be offering free lifts to people born in December and January respectively.
Expectant mothers above 5 months pregnant will also be exempted from paying bus fares as long one produces their antenatal card and NRC or birth certificate.
Aside from this public gesture by the drivers, everyone trading from Kulimatower regardless of their business will be receiving Christmas bonanzas (mealie meal, cooking and chickens).
The Kulimatower bus drivers leadership and the business community in there have expressed happiness with the current business environment in the station restored by the New Dawn administration of President Hakainde Hichilema.
Renowned musicians, among them Mozegeta and many others will be there to offer entertainment.
Station Chairperson Nicholas Banda says more artists are yet to confirm, promising that the event will be a day to remember.
