Musonda Simutengo a 36 year old Metropolitan Security officer, who was deployed at the residence of the late Kitwe businessman Richard Mbulu popularly known as Chile 1, has told the Kitwe High court how he heard Annie Monta tell her late husband Richard Mbulu, that she would kill him together with his brother and leave the children suffering.
This is a case in which Annie Monta is accused of having murdered her husband Richard Mbulu on 30th April 2022, after a marital dispute.
Appearing before Kitwe High court Judge Evaristo Pendele for continued trail as a witness, Musonda told the court that after hearing a gun shot at around 23 hours, he went round the house patrolling, when he heard Monta utter words of wanting to kill Richard Mbulu.

The court also heard that the accused Annie Monta, told the deceased Richard Mbulu to call his prostitute and let her know that he had been killed by Monta.
Also appearing before Judge Evaristo Pendele was Christopher Bindububi 49, a Medical Doctor at Progress medical center, who told the court that Richard Mbulu was pronounced brought in dead, as he had no pulse and did not react to the administration of oxygen.
The Doctor told the court that the deceased Richard Mbulu had two wounds on his body, one from the back which was the entrance of the bullet and one on the right side of his abdomen, which was the exit of the bullet.
The court also head that Richard Mbulu’s stomach was swollen, which was as a result of internal bleeding.
