Chilubi parliamentary hopeful Christabel Kalasa has addressed concerns over her physical absence from the constituency, saying her time away is dedicated to preparing for effective leadership.

“I know that sometimes you may not see me physically present in the constituency. But every moment I am away, I am working for you,” Kalasa said.

She explained that she is attending workshops and capacity-building programmes to gain the knowledge and vision needed to serve Chilubi. “I refuse to come unprepared for the responsibility you are ready to entrust in me. Chilubi deserves leadership that is ready, capable, and results-driven,” she added.

Describing her absence as “sacrifice, preparation, and commitment,” Kalasa assured residents that everything she is learning is for the constituency’s development.

“I carry Chilubi with me wherever I go. Together, we will rise. Together, we will build. Together, we will change our story,” she said, pledging not to let down those who trust her.
