Veteran Zambian artist Nasty D, has distanced himself from a song circulating on social media mocking president Edgar Lungu, that he has messed up the nation through his leadership.
Nasty D, in a statement seen by ZED GOSSIP, says it is unfortunate that some people have decided to misuse his copyright to attack and mock the head of state.
He says he did not allow anyone to use his all time hit song ‘aitaya’ to attack the president. He has wondered why people would go to an extent of causing malice both to the head of state and him by distorting his song.
Some unknown people have remixed “aitaya” song targeted at president Lungu and it is being shared on social media.
Nasty D in his statement indicated that he has engaged his lawyers to ensure that culprits are brought to book.
