31.05.2024. Brief facts of the matter are that the mother to the child (LEAH MAMBWE) was at home with the said child
Then her husband (JOSEPH MWAMBA) returned from a drinking spree and found the wife home with a pot of boiling water on the charcoal brazier.
The suspect, quietly and without any quarrel with his wife picked the pot of water from the brazier and poured it on the child who was on the back of her mother.
The child was rushed to the Lubuto Police Post under Masala Police Station and subsequently taken to the hospital for medical attention.
Docket of case opened and no arrest made yet as the suspect is currently on the run.
However, a manhunt has been instituted.
Note; The motive behind the action of the suspect is yet to be established
