Nicolas Banda “FATHER” and drivers donate toiletries to conductors

Kulimatower bus drivers chairperson Nicolas Banda, popularly known as “FATHER”, together with fellow drivers, has pledged 1,800 packs of toiletries for bus conductors.
The donation includes toothbrushes, toothpaste, roll-ons and soap.
Banda said the gesture is aimed at supporting conductors who work long hours and often struggle to access basic hygiene items while on duty.
He was joined in the pledge by other drivers who described conductors as key partners in the public transport sector.
According to Banda, the drivers’ group wants to encourage dignity and better welfare for transport workers.
The toiletries are expected to be distributed to conductors operating on various routes in the city.
