Chief Madzimawe of the Ngoni people says paramount Chief Mpezeni is doing well after surviving a road accident yesterday.
Gogo Madzimawe who said he could not give a give a media statement just yet, confirmed the good health of the Inkhosi Mpezeni.
Meanwhile, Chipata City Mayor George Mwanza says the Inkhosi Yama Nkhosi has been fully assessed by the medical experts at both Mambwe District Hospital and Medical experts at His palace from Chipata Central Hospital as a precautionary measure to ensure continued good health of the traditional leader.
The city mayor has confirmed that the Paramount Chief was involved in a road accident last evening around Chakolwa game camp along the Mwanya-Nabwalya road on his way from attending a traditional ceremony of the Bisa people of Muchinga Province.
Mr. Mwanza has further disclosed that all the people on board are out of danger and doing well.
