Democratic Union president, Ackim Antony Njobvu has yet again taken some jabs at President Hakainde Hichilema’s administration for allegedly not doing enough to benefit Zambians despite the government’s claims of improvements in the mining sector.

Njobvu has recently argued that foreign investors are reaping the benefits while locals are left with little.

The outspoken politician has questioned what the government will tell young people when they lose power on August 13, 2026.

The government, on the other hand, points to significant investments in the mining sector, including over $12 billion in new investments and increased copper production, records Njobvu says have no impact on Zambians.

Meanwhile, Njobvu says his party is the only hope for the country with its transformative agenda. He says both UPND and PF are finished political parties which have nothing to offer Zambians.
