OCHUMBA OSEKE LUBANDJI ARRIVES HOME

The Ministry of Youth, Sport and Arts today (22.11.2025) welcomed Ms. Ochumba Oseke Lubandji at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport after she had been away for nearly seven (7) months.
Ms. Ochumba had been in Beijing, China, where she was receiving treatment after sustaining a ruptured Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) during a friendly match.
Ms. Ochumba says she is ready to return to the pitch, and expressed gratitude to the Ministry for the support rendered to her during her treatment in China. The Ministry covered her surgery and rehabilitation costs amounting to fifty-one thousand United States Dollars (US$51,000.00).
Her arrival was witnessed by the Principal Sports Development Officer, Ms. Mwaba Mwauluka, Senior Sports Development Officer, Ms. Nancy Ntalasha and the ministry’s Public Relations Officer, Ms. Nzeba Chanda. They were joined by Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) deputy General Secretary, Mr. Iva Lengwe, Technical Director Mr. Lyson Zulu, Head of Communications and Media, Mr. Nkweto Tembwe and the FAZ Media Manager, Mr. Godfrey Chikumbi.
