Opposition DU slams Hichilema’s leadership, calls address to parliament ‘lacking substance’
Democratic Union President Ackim Antony Njobvu says Hakainde Hichilema just chanced the presidency, hence, struggling to deliver on his campaign promises.
And Njobvu says it is laughable that Hichilema is being described as one of the best Presidents by non – Zambians, saying citizens have endured the worst under his administration.
NJobvu argued that if Hichilema was a good leader, Zambians should have been feeling the impact of his perceived achievements being made by his praise singers.
NJobvu claims that those praising Hichilema are likely benefiting from the President, adding that HH wasn’t UPND’s vision carrier, but late Anderson Kambela Mazhoka, hence, failing.
And Njobvu has cautioned the ruling UPND to avoid silencing the opposition, warning that listening to only one voice amounts to political suicide.
Meanwhile, Njobvu has described President Hichilema’s Friday’s address to parliament as lacking substance as it did not address basic issues affecting the nation, but that it was just full of self – praise like before.
The opposition leader was speaking Monday morning on Crown TV’s Royal Breakfast Show.
