PAC demands for Banda’s return
People’s Alliance for Change (PAC) president Andyford Banda has called on whoever is allegedly holding Independent Petauke Member of Parliament Emmanuel Jay Jay Banda to release him.
The Parliamentarian has allegedly gone missing in the early hours of today in a questionable fashion.
His vehicle was however found around Twimpalm area by the police after an alert from a member of the public.
Inside Banda’s vehicle was a note purportedly to have been authored by him saying he was sorry. But the matter has raised suspicion by a cross section of citizens, among the PAC president.
“We would like to add our voice and strongly request for the safe return of Petauke Member of Parliament Hon. Emmanuel Jay Jay Banda.
We only hope these are not political games. If they are, we want to advise that we go back to the drawing board and come up with new strategies. These are old politics and not applicable in our day and age,” the PAC president said.
And the opposition leader stated that with an enlightened society, modern day politics should be based on economic performance and strategies as opposed to alleged abduction and assassinations.
“We henceforth call for the safe return of our brother in one peace. We can surely do better,” he added.
