A 35-year-old man in Petauke District, Eastern Province, Zambia, has been arrested for allegedly killing his wife and two children through food poisoning, following a marital dispute.
According to Eastern Province Police Commanding Officer, Limpo Liywalii, Robert Zulu of Mabilo village in Chieftainess Mwanjabanthu allegedly prepared a drink to which he added rat poison, and gave his wife, Ngoza Sakala, 21 and their two children, Joseph Zulu, 3 and 6-months-old Misozi Zulu.
The incident is believed to have occurred on May 26, 2024.
