Hamoonga says brief facts are that on the material day, Nathan Mweshi Kembe aged 40 of Mtendere Compound was operating as a Taxi Driver using a Toyota Vitz registration number BBC6517 when he was hired by a lone dreadlocked young man from PHI to Ng’ombe.

He says on the way, the client started prophesying over the taxi driver.

Hamoonga says when they reached Ng’ombe, the Taxi Driver was encouraged to attend a brief prayer session in a house where there were two women.

He says the Driver was taken to a bedroom where he was given water, which the suspect claimed was anointing water and was advised to take a nap.

Hamoonga says, besides, he was made to wear some suspected charms around his waist and advised to sit comfortably.

He explains that in the process, the Taxi Driver became intoxicated and became unconscious, and the suspect disappeared with the vehicle.

Hamoonga says the said motor vehicle is a property of Kaluma Nguni, who is out of the Country but was left with Simayela Lupiya, aged 31 of house number 10 Harry Nkumbula road behind PHI mall and is valued at K115,000.

The Police Spokesperson said Police instituted investigations and Simayela Lupiya informed them that the vehicle had a tracker and was in Garden House.

He says Officers made a follow-up and managed to recover the vehicle and apprehended the suspect Bwalya Chibwe, aged 21 of New Ng’ombe, who was found with another person in the car.

Hamoonga says, later, it was further discovered that the suspect had stolen two phones an Infinix worth K2,000 from Maureen Tembo aged 50 and a techno phone worth K2,500 from Gladys Chibuye aged 41, both of new Ng’ombe whom he duped that he wanted to take their phones for a breakthrough prayer session at the mountain.

He says the two women have been identified as the two women that the driver found at the house where the incident occurred.

Hamoonga says the suspected anointing water was recovered and will be subjected for examination to ascertain its contents.

He says the vehicle is currently parked at Lusaka Division headquarters adding that Police Investigations are ongoing.
