The Zambia Police Service has dispelled allegations that six police officers from Kulima Tower Police Post were suspended for refusing to block former President EDGAR LUNGU in the Central Business District.

Zambia Police Spokesperson RAE HAMOONGA no police officers have been suspended in connection with the alleged incident.

Mr HAMOONGA has assured that any misconduct by police officers will be dealt with in accordance with the law and internal disciplinary procedures.
