POLICE PRESENCE AT HONOURABLE JAY EMMANUEL BANDA’S RESIDENCE IN IBEX HILL.
Lusaka, August 19,2024– The Zambia Police Service wishes to inform the public that our officers today the August 19,2024 conducted an operation at the residence of Honourable Jay Emmanuel Banda in Ibex hill as part of an ongoing investigation. The operation was carried out in line with our mandate to uphold the law and ensure public safety.
At this stage, we wish to emphasize that this action was a routine procedure in the course of our investigations. However, we are unable to provide further details at this time to avoid compromising the integrity of the investigation.
We urge the public to remain calm and refrain from speculating on the nature of the operation. The Zambia Police Service is committed to conducting thorough and impartial investigations in all matters and will provide updates as appropriate when it is safe to do so.
