President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA is set to commission the Kafulafuta dam project in Masaiti on the Copperbelt next month.
Water Development and Sanitation Minister, COLLINS NZOVU says the dam will positively impact the lives of over one million people in the province.
Speaking during the official handover of the New Kafubu head office building in Ndola, Mr. NZOVU said the dam is well done.
He said that a commissioning committee for the Kafulafuta dam has been formed to adequately prepare for the dam to be commissioned by the President next month.
And Kafubu Water and Sanitation Board Chairperson Engineer WATSON NG’AMBI has thanked the government for seeing through the Kafulafuta project under which the new Kafubu Water head office falls.
