And Commander Zambia Army, Lieutenant General Sitali Dennis Alibuzwi has urged the newly promoted officers and soldiers to provide sound military advice to their subordinates.

The Army Commander says the elevation of the officers to their next ranks is as a result of their hard work and loyalty to the country.
Speaking during the pipping ceremony for promotion of Brigadier General and Colonel ranks held at Army headquarters in Lusaka, Lt Gen Alibuzwi advised the officers to continue upholding their oath of allegiance by serving the country and the President with patriotism and integrity until they retire and are cleared.
12 Brigadier Generals and 17 Colonels, matched before the Army Commander who was in the company of Deputy Commander Zambia Army and Chief of Staff, Major General Geoffrey Choongo Zyeele to be congratulated and decorated with the new ranks.
Others promoted to their next ranks were Lieutenant Colonels, Majors, Captains, Lieutenants, Warrant Officer Class Ones and Twos.
