National Sports Council of Zambia (NSCZ) Board Member Kay Kamatuwa and staffer Phoebe Silabo were present to witness the annual general meeting.

The elected members were duly elected for the next four years’ tenure of office.

Several judo clubs in the country were in attendance to witness the mammoth annual general meeting.

And in an interview, Foloko expressed appreciation for being retained as president and pledged to offer more in the promotion of the sport.

He said he does not take his re-election for granted but looks at it as an endorsement of stakeholders’ confidence in the spirit of taking the sport forward.

He said he is ready to work with all stakeholders in pursuit of sports excellence while making sure that Judo gets full recognition as a socially transformative sport.

“This is not my victory, but a victory of those that value this sport to ensure we grow it to international height for the sake of Zambia’s sports trajectory,” Foloko said.
