Prominent Lusaka Businessman, Dennis Mano Enters Politics

LUSAKA – Well-known Lusaka businessman Dennis Mano has officially announced his intention to contest the Zambezi Central Constituency seat in North Western Province under the ruling United Party for National Development (UPND).

Mr. Mano, who previously served as an officer of the law before venturing into the corporate sector, said his decision followed extensive consultations.

“I reached this decision after a wide consultation across a section of society,” he explained.

He emphasized that his motivation stems from the developmental agenda spearheaded by President Hakainde Hichilema.

“I have been inspired by the great works of President Hakainde Hichilema through the numerous projects he has initiated.

I want to work with the Head of State on projects such as the Constituency Development Fund, which is transforming the lives of our people,” Mr. Mano stated.

The businessman pledged to run an issue-based campaign, focusing on tangible results for the electorate.

“My interest is to deliver to the expectations of the people. This campaign will be about issues, not personalities,” he said.

With his entry into the race, Mr. Mano joins the growing list of candidates seeking to represent Zambezi Central, promising to blend his experience in law enforcement and business with a commitment to public service.
