Brief facts are that the deceased who is a Grade 7 pupil at Garneton combined school reached home from school at around 1300 hrs.
Before entering the house she was asked by her grandmother who was outside whether she bought a pen since she was given money in the morning.
She then replied that she bought the pen but it was stolen again.
She entered the house in her bedroom and didn’t come out untill she was discovered dead at around 1600 hrs.
Police visited the scene and found the deceased hanging next to the bed still dressed in her school uniform.
The body was inspected with no visible injuries observed and was picked and deposited at Kitwe Teaching Hospital Mortuary. Currently no foul play suspected . More to follow.
