OYDC ZAMBIA WELCOMES FOOTBALL STAR RACHEAL KUNDANANJI AT THE MULTISPORTS FACILITY AS SHE LAUNCHES HER LEGACY FOUNDATION
It was a blissful Wednesday morning as the OYDC Zambia welcomed Zambian female football star Racheal Kundananji at the sports facility to launch her auspicious foundation dubbed “Racheal Kundananji Legacy Foundation”.
Various stakeholders representing UNAIDS, NOWSPAR, Magnum Security, ZAMWIL, FAZ, Ministry of Youth, Sport and Arts, and National Sports Council of Zambia (NSCZ) were present to witness this mammoth launch.
During the launch, OYDC Zambia Acting Chief Executive Officer Benjamin Tembo disclosed that it was euphoric that the Racheal Kundananji Legacy Foundation was being launched at the multisports facility which will make more young aspiring football players get motivated by the football star who plays for Bay FC.
Tembo indicated that the OYDC Zambia will continue to work with partners like the Racheal Kundananji Legacy Foundation to promote sports development at the grassroots level.
The launch was graced by Ministry of Youth, Sport and Arts permanent secretary Kangwa Chileshe who represented the Minister Hon. Elvis Nkandu, MP.
He stated that the government appreciates initiatives such as the launch of the Racheal Kundananji Legacy Foundation and urged others to emulate her.
Meanwhile, in her speech, Racheal Kundananji delivered a heartwarming message on how she has become a celebrated global football female icon. She indicated that her foundation will help many children and others.
