Siavonga aspiring Member of Parliament Lovemore Kanyama has announced his bid to represent the constituency in the forthcoming elections under the campaign theme “Run With Us: LK-2026.”
He is recognised as the only District Commissioner in Siavonga’s history to successfully secure brand new motor vehicles for two Chiefs, thereby strengthening traditional leadership mobility and service delivery.
Kanyama highlights his leadership in spearheading the Mundulundulu Piped Water Project in Kariba Store for communities under Chief Simamba, with a clear plan to expand access to more villages.
He underscores his role in ensuring a stable water supply, which has reduced major water challenges across communities.
His tenure is noted for maintaining peace and security, with no incidents of shootings or killings recorded.
He also prioritised improvements to the road network, enhancing connectivity within the district.
Lovemore Kanyama presents himself as the only tested and experienced leader, committed to serving the people of Siavonga District, rallying supporters with the slogan “GO GO GO LK-2026.”
