Social media vlogger Simon Mwewa Chitambala of the Simon Mwewa Lane TV has been reported to the police for allegedly saying everything in Matero, including clergyman Bishop John “General” Nundwe is fake.
Matero member of parliament Miles Sampa has confirmed the development in a Facebook post.
Sampa said a complaint against Chitambala for his alleged social media comment was lodged in on Sunday evening by himself and other affected youths of Matero.
The parliamentarian stated that evidence against Chitambala would be this morning presented to the police.
“Specifically we pointed to new Cyber crime Act No 4 of 2025 section 22 (2) and section 24 (1) b that he has contravened individually on us the people of Matero,” Sampa said.
He added that more witnesses were on Monday expected to lodge in their complaints against Chitambala.
