Tamara Ngozi, daughter to the late Zambian music legend Paul Ngozi has rebuked Talia’s sentiments that her late mum died of AIDS.
What seems to be a fight that once ensued during their stay in the Big Brother Africa house has now been extended to the outside world. This follows when Talia, posted on Instagram seen by ZED GOSSIP, a lengthy emotional post disclosing that her late mum died from AIDS “Growing up, I faced many challenges. I lost both parents at age 4. My dad was an American professor who came to Zambia to work at UNZA and my mother was a young, exuberant Zambian woman. My dad had a mental illness which eventually saw him lose everything he had built. He was sent back to the United States by the embassy for medical help.” Part of the post read.
She further went to narrate how her father who had a mental illness died and left her family suffering
“Growing up, I faced many challenges. I lost both parents at age 4. My dad was an American professor who came to Zambia to work at UNZA and my mother was a young, exuberant Zambian woman. My dad had a mental illness which eventually saw him lose everything he had built. He was sent back to the United States by the embassy for medical help. At that time, him and my mom had separated. He left us with his family friend with the goal to come back. That was the last time we saw him. Turns out he roamed around homeless up to getting shot by the police”
she said.
But this has angered her half-sister Tamara Nyorongo, who posted on social media urging her young sister to avoid dragging her late mum’s name in her escapades saying she does know what killed their mother.
“You living in my house from 2006 to 2012 was my expression of the genuine love I had and still have for you. Our arguments in the BBA house were out of the love I had for you. That was not “tv love” as you choose to see it. And while you are still on your sympathy trip, please leave my mom’s name out of it. You know nothing about the woman or what she died from apart from the twisted version of whoever gave it to you” Tamara said.
Meanwhile, some of their social media followers have advised the duo to resolve their differences out of social media if their relationship is to remain strong with love.
