Side Chicks everywhere but Polygamy is where we draw the line?
By Muzamba Siandizya.
Let’s be honest words like side chick, sneaky link, back up, plan B and side piece have become so normal that no one even flinches at their mention anymore. They’re in memes, songs, group chats and everyday conversations.
In short, cheating has been rebranded and it’s no longer taboo. But say the word ‘polygamy’ and suddenly, everyone becomes a moral expert.
According to Prophet Siame, that reaction might be a little hypocritical. He argues that the Bible never actually calls polygamy a sin. The real issue, he says, is how people handle relationships specifically, whether they can enter into polygamy responsibly and provide for the women involved.
Drawing from his experience in ministry, Prophet Siame shared that he often challenges men in his church to rethink their actions. He advises them that instead of spreading diseases by hopping from woman to woman, why not marry them?
What’s your take on this matter? Do you really think polygamous marriages should be normalized?
