Twenty-two people have survived a road accident in Mpika District after a Toyota Hilux they were in overturned.
This is after hitting into a tree.
The 22, who include the driver of the Hilux, are currently admitted to the MICHAEL SATA Hospital in Mpika.
Muchinga Province Police Commanding Officer, DENNIS MOOLA has told ZNBC News that the accident happened yesterday at Katibunga Village, 60 kilometers east of Mpika town.
Mr. MOOLA said the driver lost control of the vehicle due to excessive speed and hit into a tree and overturned, leaving him and his 21 passengers with various injuries.
He said the vehicle which belongs to Shain Hai Construction Company in Lusaka was damaged in the accident.
