Two notorious drug dealers who are involved in the illicit cultivation and trafficking of cannabis, have been arrested in Chipangali and Lundazi districts in Eastern province.

Drug Enforcement Commission Spokesperson, ALLAN TAMBA has identified the suspects as ISAAC BANDA, aged 47, and MATILDAH MAZYOPA, aged 40.

Mr TAMBA says the suspects had cultivated a combined 725 kilogrammes of cannabis.

He has added that the commission has also apprehended several suspects in other parts of the country for illegal possession of cannabis.
