TWO people who tested positive for COVID-19 have tested negative and will be discharged tomorrow.
Health minister Dr Chitalu Chilufya said the two have now become immune to the Coronavirus.
During today’s COVID-19 briefing at the Ministry of Health in Lusaka, Dr Chilufya said there had been no new case of infection.
He said health officials had followed up 262 alerts in the last 24 hours which turned out to be classified as non-cases.
This means Zambia still stands at 39 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with one death.
The minister still stressed that Lusaka remained the epicenter of the Coronavirus and urged people not to leave or exit the city.
