United Kwacha Alliance – UKA, Council of Presidents on Wednesday devised several resolutions following a meeting at the Secretariat of Harry Kalaba’s Citizen’s First party in Woodlands, Lusaka.
Relaying the resolutions, UKA Chairman for Security, Sean Tembo, says the Alliance particularly bemoaned the continued use of the Zambia Police to fight political battles by the ruling party.
Tembo notes that the Alliance resolved to remain steadfast despite the strong-arm tactics being employed by President Hakainde Hichilema, whose political relevance has significantly fizzled out in the recent past, largely due to his failure to deliver.
He adds that UKA will soon be announcing many critical political activities across the nation as it prepares for the 2026 General Elections.
Tembo says UKA is grateful for the positive reception that it has received from the Zambian people so far.
