WHEN you talk about power couples in Zambia’s entertainment space, particularly in the music industry, Esther and Pompi will definitely be in the top ten, or at least close to that.
But unlike many celebrity couples, these two are pros at keeping things on the down-low. They do share their personal moments with the public, but only when they choose to.
Take their wedding in April 2021, for example. The event was held with no pictures leaked until they dropped the professional shots and videos later on. And then, two years later, came the birth of their son.
This couple, both gospel artistes, also serves as an inspiring example for those seeking marital inspiration. While some may believe public figures owe their fans a glimpse into their personal lives, Pompi disagrees with this notion.
He emphasises that allowing the public into their private matters only leads to unnecessary division.
Pompi recalls a conversation he had with Esther at the onset of their relationship, where they agreed that involving the public in their affairs jeopardises the sanctity of their home. Since then, they’ve strived to keep their home a sacred space.
