UPND MEMBER OF PARLIAMENT DIES

Ruling UPND Kabwata Member of Parliament was bashed by a car at his house today.

“It is with deep regret that we wish to inform members of the general public that UPND KABWATA MP Hon. Levy Mkandawire is dead.

Reports indicate that he was hit by a speeding vehicle outside his Woodlands residence. The body has been deposited in the mortuary at the University Teaching Hospital”. UPND Kabwata Information and Publicity Secretary, Mainda Simaata.

The Zambia Police Service is yet to issue a statement on the reported accident.
