UNITED Party for National Development – UPND die hard supporter, Henry Sichone, of Monze is demanding to be rewarded with a Three-wheeled Motorcycle or a Vehicle for his efforts in campaigning for the party.
Sichone who has a disability, tells Byta FM News that he travelled across the district on his Tricycle mobilizing support for the party in the face of threats of physical attacks from rivals.
He complains that the UPND has not paid attention to him following their 2021 election victory while he struggles to make ends meet as a Tailor.

Sichone appeals to President Hakainde Hichilema to consider gifting him with a Vehicle to enable him start a transport business and reduce the mobility challenges he is facing on his Tricycle.
He claims to have made applications for funding under the Constituency Development Fund – CDF with no success despite having followed all the guidelines.
Efforts to get a comment from UPND Monze District Chairperson, Michelo Kasauta, were unsuccessful as his phone went unanswered.
But UPND Monze Youth Chairperson, Cassius Mangani, has advised Sichone to seek guidance from the Party leadership on how to successfully apply for grants and empowerment programs.
He has discouraged party members from rushing to the media with their grievances, saying some issues can easily be resolved internally without involving other entities.
