VILLA MALL PATRONS GET A BEATING

Patrons allegedly got a fair share of a beating by soldiers at Villa Mall in Ndola and in the process they also destroyed some property last night.

When reached for a comment Chifubu Member of Parliament Lloyd Lubosha confirmed the incident.

He however could not comment further as he is yet to get more information.

“I can confirm that I got a report that soldiers beat up people and destroyed property at Villa Mall last night. I have a bar there so my staff reported to me that our bar was also affected. The matter has been reported to the police. I can only comment when I have full information as I’m currently in Lusaka,” said Mr Lubosha.

Police are yet to give a statement on this matter.
