When rapper AKA, real name Kiernan Forbes, gave his social media followers a glimpse of his love life with his fiancée, Anele Nelli Tembe, little did they know those would be her last hours alive.
Tembe allegedly jumped to her death at an upmarket hotel in Cape Town yesterday. She was confirmed dead by paramedics who attempted to resuscitate her after she injured herself from the plunge.
The couple had been engaged for two weeks when tragedy struck yesterday.
Forbes had been in Cape Town to celebrate a friend’s birthday while also performing at two nightclubs on Saturday.
In a series of videos and pictures uploaded on his Instagram account, the couple seemed to be happy and buoyant as they went on about their day in the Mother City. In the first video, the couple appeared to be at a photoshoot, where they wore matching blue tops as cameras kept flashing.
