WE ARE NOT CLOSING – SHOPRITE

Shoprite Zambia says it is not closing its business in Zambia, contrary to social media reports.
General Manager, Charles Bota, described the reports as a joke.
Bota said the chain store is actually opening new outlets around the country including Lusaka in a few months.
He said this in an interview in Lusaka Friday morning.
Some social media platforms have reported that the chain store is winding up its business in Zambia.
Shoprite which has operated in the country for more 28 years has employed thousands of workers.
