POLITICAL Scientist, Henry Simfukwe, has noted a possible risk of some political careers and personalities hitting a premature end by associating with former President, Edgar Lungu, in the recently established United Kwacha Alliance-UKA.
Speaking an interview with Byta FM Zambia News, Simfukwe observes that some Zambians still hold Lungu largely responsible for various ills under his administration, hence any one seen working with him could be cast in bad light.
He is of the take that currently, Zambia is at one of its low points in terms of caliber of opposition Political Parties, stating a seemingly apparent gap in quality checks and balances to government.
But Patriotic Front-PF Southern Province Treasurer, Peter Kampamba, retorts that just like any other Zambian, Simfukwe has a right to his opinion.
Kampamba says the former Head of State should be judged based on his achievements while in power in comparison to his successor who is currently presiding.
