Zambian actress Cassie Kabwita set to be honoured at the African Film Festival (TAFF) in Dallas Texas, USA

Zambia’s renowned actor, director and filmmaker, Cassie Kabwita is this June expected to stand on a global stage of prestige to receive a honorary Ambassador’s award at The African Film Festival (TAFF) in Dallas Texas, USA.

According to the letter received from the TAFF Director the fine looking Kabwita has been lauded for her dedication as Ambassador to TAFF representing Zambia since 2017.

The actor who does not compromise on dress code especially when she is bound for a public appearance is expected to also be one of the panelists for the Symposium on African Cinema during the festival.

Kabwita the Zambian export is currently in Serengati National park Tanzania shooting a new AZAM TV exclusive Drama series titled MZANI WA MAHUSIANO, she is playing a lead role, supported by a number of renowned actors in Tanzania.

Producers and Directors of her series in Tanzania have already granted her leave from the shoot to travel to the USA to receive the award in person because they believe the additional award to the Multiple awards that Kabwita already has to her name would add value to their new show and attract more viewership traffic once on air although the true bragging rights will belong to Zambia.
