Leading African PR & Rating firm, Avance Media has announced the 6th publication of its annual ranking of 100 Most Influential Young Africans and among them is our very own son of the soil Barrington Chungulo! This list celebrates the brightest and most successful young Africans in various fields across the continent.

Barrington Chungulo is a Multi-Award-Winning Zambian Social Entrepreneur and Global Changemaker. Unlike many other youths who seek, worse still, wait for opportunities to present themselves, Barrington creates opportunities for other people, particularly the youths, not only in Zambia, but as well as the whole African Continent with hopes of bringing these opportunities to the rest of the world at large.
He is the President and Founder of The Dream Factory (TDF), a Zambian leveraged nonprofit social enterprise that uses a multifaceted approach towards curbing, or better still, alleviating problems especially among the youths by use of tools which include but not limited to; education, health, advocacy and empowerment to ensure that young people stay driven and achieve their fullest potential.
As the President and Founder of The Dream Factory, Barrington has initiated, launched, and successfully organized several annual social impact projects such as the Global Changemakers (GCMx) Zambia Event, with a purpose of unlocking the power and potential of young people to impact our Zambian community; Social Entrepreneurship MasterClass (SEM), which is aimed at introducing participants to the concept of Social Entrepreneurship and strengthening their social enterprises by developing ready-to-be-used business models; UN75 Global Peace Inter-Generational Dialogue, which served as a pioneering platform for young future leaders to dialogue with current leaders on their aspirations for what a better world should look like and offered inputs on how to shape it; and the Zambia 30 Under 30 (Future of Zambia – Top 30 Under 30 list), which recognizes and celebrates young Zambian achievers under the age of 30 who are building brands, creating jobs, changing the game, and transforming the country, and is intended to disclose the true and genuine potentials of young people who are earnest to turn around the fortunes of Zambia’s economy and whose works are at par with their impacts.
Barrington Chungulo is also a 2021 Diana Award Recipient (The Diana Awards, UK), 2020 African Youth of the Year – Male Award Winner (Africa Youth Awards, Ghana), and an honouree of the Australian eYs Magazine 2020 Top 5 Humanitarians in the World (World’s leading humanitarian magazine celebrating the voice of our unsung heroes).
