A stranded man of Kabangwe area pocketed a mere K10 from his male colleague who offered him a place to sleep but ended up raping him.

But the pain in Nkunga Mulenga’s bottom was too much to bear and that ended up going to the police where he shared his traumatizing and unnatural experience with officers between sobs and plenty of tears.
Police then arrested Elias Scotch Sakala aged 34 for the offence and arraigned him before court.

According to information obtained by Kalemba, Sakala decided to play good samaritan when he met Mulenga at a bar one April evening.
Apparently, Mulenga had been chased from home after a quarrel with his mother.

With nowhere to spend a night, Mulenga went to a bar where he met Sakala who offered him a place to lay his head that evening.

According to reports, before the duo got home, Sakala, a bricklayer by profession threw out all his Good Samaritans traits and raped Mulenga.

As if to punish Mulenga for the Bembas decision of dumping Easterners as their long-standing traditional cousins in preference for Lozis, Sakala sneaked on his guest as he urinated in a little bush he had stopped to relieve himself as they walked home and did a Room 18 on him.

According to those privy to the details of the incident, Sakala bent Mulenga over and mercilessly vandalised his bottom.

After decanting all the contents of his family jewels in Mulenga, Sakala demanded to go again but his victim refused.

Sakala then allegedly gave Mulenga a K10 to shut him up from disclosing the incident but he developed a change of mind as he grabbed it and returned to the bar and ordered the victim to go back home to his mother.

The incident was later reported to the police leading to the apprehension of Sakala.

Appearing before magistrate Kawama Mwamfuli the accused pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Trial commences on June 25
