Police in Mufulira have arrested a 42-year-old man of Kawama West for defiling his 7-year old daughter.

The suspect was arrested after his friend who caught him in the act reported the matter to the police.

The friend who had spent the night at the suspect’s place heard the girl crying in the other bedroom and when he went to check what was happening, he found his friend defiling his daughter.

Copperbelt Police Commissioner PEACEWELL MWEEMBA confirmed the incident to ZNBC news in a Statement.
