A CALL for help at a named lodge in Chililabombwe District on the Copperbelt has turned out fatal after a body of a 33-year-old woman was found lying lifeless in a pool of blood.
Choolwe Sichiyanda was found lifeless in a room suspectedly locked up by Justin Musonda, 41 a man she was found with in the room.
The victim is believed to have been calling for help and one of the guests in the next room called out to the security guard to attend to the shouting.
Little did they know that the call for help will actually turn out to be a cold blooded murder of the victim.

The suspect has since been arrested and police have instituted investigations in the matter.
Copperbelt police commanding officer Peacewell Mweemba said the matter was reported by Chrispin Kayombo a security guard who had been called by one of the guests in the near by room.
The incident happened today between 04:00 hours and 05:30 hours at the named lodge.

“Brief facts of the matter are that the reporter was working at the named lodge was informed by Davies Kabaso who lodged in the next room that someone in the room next to him was shouting for help. When he rushed there the room was locked and upon peeping through the window he saw a female person lying lifeless in the pool of blood. Police visited the scene and forced the door open and found the deceased not breathing, the suspect was apprehended,” he said.
