A 59-YEAR-OLD Nigerian woman, Omolara Olurin, has inspired women online after giving birth to twin boys following 17 years of waiting to conceive.
Olurin, who turns 59 in November, has been sharing her pregnancy journey with her TikTok followers, describing the birth of her twin boys as a testimony of God’s love and mercy.
The twins, whom she and her husband have named Isaac and Daniel, were born in separate sacs and with separate placentas.
According to Olurin, one of the boys represents evidence of God’s love, while the other symbolises evidence of God’s mercy.
“We use these blessings as contact for all those who desire these gifts from the Lord. Lord, show us mercy again and again,” Olurin prayed for those hoping for similar blessings.
She further prayed for women and others who have been waiting and trusting God for children.

“For many that are still crying, petitioning the heavens, and praising God Almighty for miracles, let joy be full,” she said.
Olurin has shared pictures documenting her pregnancy journey at the age of 58 and 59, as well as a video showing her and her husband walking side by side with their newborn twins after being discharged from hospital.
A midwife by profession, Olurin said she had spent much of her professional life experiencing childbirth from the side of a helper.
After 17 years of waiting, she is now celebrating motherhood herself — with two newborn sons, Isaac and Daniel.
Her story has since touched thousands of online followers, particularly those who continue to hope and pray for the gift of children.
