Legendary broadcaster Kalumba Chikonde best known as K-Smash has disclosed that he went through depression at some point after leaving radio.
Featuring on Phoenix FM Tuesday evening show with Wanzanji, and monitored by ZED GOSSIP, K-Smash revealed that mental issues is very real and it is affecting a number of people in the entertainment industry.

K-Smash is best known to have worked for stations like Hot FM, QFM, Phoenix FM, Muvi TV, Mondo Music among others before he ventured into the corporate world full time.
He further disclosed that during his radio time he enjoyed working with the late Zach from Hot FM whom he presented the Local Rythms Count Down with for many years.
He added that he is happy to see how the radio and TV industry has revolved in the country adding that there is alot of talent out there.
He says it took some counselling and therapy for him to get back to his normal self.
