I’M MEETING ZUMANI IN COURT – NEVERS
FORMER Republican Vice President, Dr. Nevers Mumba, has directed his Lawyers to commence Legal Action against Political Scientist, Dr. Chris Zumani Zimba, for what he regards a dent to his image.
Mumba alleges that Zimba, who is President Edgar Lungu’s former Political Advisor, published falsehoods about him in response to a recent Live Broadcast he had on his Facebook page.
He says Zimba went to great lengths in trying to run a narrative that was embroiled in lies, deceit and twisted facts all in an effort to destroy a name he built over many decades.
Mumba is hopeful that the case will become a beacon in the land and a legal precedence to ensure that after this, nobody should ever wake up and maliciously smear lies and defame another person.
He says such immoral politics may continue if no one stands up to put a stop to it.
