The University Teaching Hospital -UTH- is concerned about the growing number of young people, who are being admitted to the facility for stroke.

Hospital Consultant Neurologist, DEANNA SAYLOR says at least 50 to 60 people get admitted to the facility every month at the hospital with one third of them, under the age of 35.

Professor SAYLOR, who is also Director of Neurology Training in Zambia, has disclosed that the UTH has now introduced a stroke unit offering specialist services to stroke patients.
